Commissioned by McLaren Brussels and meticulously built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), this ultra-limited edition celebrates Bruce McLaren's first Formula 1 victory at the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps. Painted in the striking MSO Bespoke Anniversary Orange (Papaya Orange) color, inspired by the winning single-seater, this 720S embodies the spirit of competition and innovation that defines the Woking-based brand.
 
This unit, chassis number 2 of 3, was imported new by us in 2018, directly from McLaren Barcelona, and has always been owned by a single owner, with only 14,000 km on the odometer.
 
Design & Performance – A True Collector's Item
 
From the exclusive MSO Bespoke Satin Black 5 Twin-Spoke Lightweight wheels to the silver outline of the Spa-Francorchamps track engraved on the rear arches, every detail of this 720S Spa 68' Collection pays homage to its racing heritage. The carbon fiber sills are engraved with the inscription:
 
“1st McLaren F1 victory – Belgian Grand Prix – June 9, 1968 – Bruce McLaren.”
 
The interior, upholstered in black Alcantara, is highlighted by McLaren Orange stitching and Spa-Francorchamps circuit embroidery on the headrests. To further enhance its exclusivity, there is also a “1 of 3 Spa 68' Collection” plaque and MSO keys painted in Anniversary Orange with silver “Spa 68” lettering.
